When my parents 1) suggested that we  go to see the David Copperfield performance at  the local stadium, I immediately 2) agreed.

They 3) told me about the amazing tricks that  he 4) had performed in the past and I have to admit  I 5) was intrigued.

On the night of the performance, as we 6) entered the venue, there was an immense feeling of  anticipation in the air while the audience 7) were hurrying to find their seats. As the lights 8) dimmed,  everyone 9) fell silent.

The show that 10) followed left me  breathless. After his first trick, in which his assistant  11) cut him in half, Copperfield 12) invited members of the audience to supply him with  dates of birth and anniversaries.
