There are four seasons in a year: spring, summer, autumn and winter.

Nature is awakening of life again in spring. Trees are burstling in leaf, flowers are breaking into blossom. Rainy and warm weather in spring is good.

Summer is the hottest season of all. In summer at times the heat is almost unbearable. But sometimes there are heavy thunder-storms in summer. Summer is my favourite season. I like to go to the seaside with my parents. I can sunbathe and swim in the sea. Swimming is my favourite sport. I can swim very well.
Autumn is usually rainy. A warm pleasant weather in autumn is called Indian Summer.
Winter is the coldest season of all. In winter the weather is nasty when the wind blows violently and the falling snow strikes the face. But sometimes the weather is fine in winter. The streets are covered with snow. The air is clear and cold. The rivers and ponds are frozen.
There has been a good fall of snow and a hard frost today.The ground is like iron and rings under our feet, icicles hang from the houses. On a day like this I can go with my friends to the skating rink. We can also have a fight with snowballs.

3) Вопросительные предложения:

(Вопросительное слово +) глагол кто/что(подл.) + сказуемое(что делает) + что(дополнение)+ где + когда.

Примеры:

1) С глаголом to be > am  is  are

I am happy.  Are you happy?  She isn't happy.

2) С модальными глаголами: can  may  must

I can swim.  Can you swim?  Where can you swim?   She cannot  swim.

3) С остальными глаголами глагол to do (does)

I like to swim.  Do you like to swim?  He doesn't like to swim.

Does she like to swim?  Yes, she does. She likes to swim.

They don't like to swim.

Как же узнать, когда пишется is / am / are?  Это довольно просто: если подлежащие выражено местоимением He / She / It или его можно заменить на одно из этих местоимений - пишем Is.  Если подлежащие выражено местоимением I - пишем Am.    Если подлежащие выражено местоимениями You / We / They, или его можно заменить на одно из этих местоимений — пишем Are.

Перейдем к do и does:  Если подлежащие выражено местоимением  He / She / It, или его можно заменить на одно из этих местоимений — пишем does.   Если подлежащие выражено местоимением I / They / You / We или его можно заменить на одно из этих местоимений — пишем do.
