Большинство людей думают, что Биг Бен - это высокая башня с часами, которая стоит выше здания парламента. А вот и нет! Биг-Бен - не башня с часами. Это один из четырех огромных колоколов внутри башни. Его название происходит от имени куратора работ сэра Бенджамина Холла, или Бена. Башня имеет высоту 98 метров. Белл внутри башни весит 14 тонн. Часы на башне также огромны. Каждый из четырех циферблатов имеет диаметр 7 метров. Часовые стрелки длиной около 3 метров, а минутные стрелки - около 4 метров.
Возможно, в один прекрасный день, вы сможете поехать в Лондон и увидеть этот удивительный туристическую достопримечательность...
