Mr and Mrs Brown 22 go abroad for some time. They had a dog called Blackie which they were very fond of, but as dogs were not allowed on a plane, they 23 not take him with them. So they 24 a good place to leave him while they were away, and at last found a place which looked after dogs very well while their owners were away. They took Blackie there just before they left for their holiday, and sadly said goodbye to him. At the end of their holiday, they 25 get back to England very late at night, and as they thought that the place where Blackie was staying 26 be closed at the late hour, they 27 wait until the next morning before going to get him. So the next morning Mr Brown 28 get into his car and drive off to collect Blackie. When he reached home with the dog, he said to his wife, 'Do you know, dear, I don't think Blackie 29 have enjoyed his stay at that place very much. He barked all the way home in the car as if he 30 tell me something'. Mrs Brown looked at the dog carefully and then answered, 'You are quite right, dear. He certainly 31 tell you something. But he wasn't trying to tell you that he hadn't enjoyed his stay at that place. He was only trying to tell you that you were bringing the wrong dog home. This isn't Blackie!

It was in the woods near the village in autumn, where four friends strolled.
They saw that there was a hole in the ground, started to dig.
The next day they returned to the woods, boys lit their torches and crawled into the small dark tunnel. But a boy who was at the front let out a loud gasp, everyone was amazed to see the walls covered with pictures of animals. The friends ran to school and told their teacher all about it.
Later their teacher asked the boys to stay behind after school. The expert had confirmed that the boys were the first modern people to lay eyes upon the famous Lascaux paintings, which were at least 17 cecturies old. They felt really proud.
