My House

I live in a house. I like my house very much. It’s neither big nor little. When you enter the house you see a big living room. There is a sofa and a round table in the middle of the living room. There is a big TV-set on the wall. My living room is light as there are 4 big windows. There is a kitchen to the right and stairs to the upper floor. The kitchen is big, and the whole family can get together for dinner there. My parents also like to invite their friends for dinner.

My room is upstairs. It’s big, with high ceilings. There is not much furniture there, only my bed, my wardrobe and a couple of shelves. I keep my pets in the room. I have many of them: mice, rats, hamsters, fish, parrots. I even have a ferret. So there are cages all over the room. My parents’ room, my elder sister’s room, my younger brother’s room and my granny’s room are also upstairs.

There is a yard around the house. My granny likes to grow flowers there. My dad made a small sports ground with a horizontal bar and a punch bag. There is a swing opposite the sports ground. Перевод

Моя комната наверху. Она большая, с высокими потолками. Там не так много мебели, только кровать, шкаф и несколько полок. Я держу своих питомцев в комнате. У меня их много: мыши, крысы, хомяки, рыба, попугаи. У меня даже есть хорек. Так что по всей комнате стоят клетки. Комната моих родителей, комната моей старшей сестры, комната младшего брата и комната бабушки тоже наверху.

Sport is very important in our life. The general belief is that a person who goes in for sports can’t be weak and ill. Physically inactive people get old earlier that those, who find time for sport activity. And of course good health is better than good medicine.

People all over the world are fond of sports and games. In our country sport is being widely popularized as well. The most popular kinds of sport are football, volleyball, basketball, tennis, figure-skating, aerobics, ping-pong and swimming. A lot of people are fond of jogging. In schools and colleges sport is a compulsory subject. Many young people attend sport sections. Some of them dream to become professional sportsmen.

As for me, I can’t imagine my life without sport. In summer I go jogging every morning and when I have free time I attend swimming pool. In winter I like to skate with my friends. It’s fun. Also I’m fond of aerobics. First of all aerobics helps to keep myself fit. It also attracts me because it resembles dancing.

In conclusion I’d like to say that I’m absolutely sure that doing sports is the best way to keep fit. Sport makes our bodies strong, it prevents us from getting too fat, and makes us more self-organized and better disciplined.
