In the beginning of Mufasa and Sarabi's son Simba was born, who from the beginning wanted to be king. He had a friend Nala whom he spent a lot of time. Simba's uncle ---Scar(Taka, or Scar. happens in different ways) wanted to overthrow His brother izbavitsya Mufasa and Simba to become king. The scar with his hyena came up with a plan: walking with Simba he told him that the father is preparing a surprise for him and Simba have to wait in this place where they were (this was the gorge or over). Wasn't boring to Simba, Scar told him to practice growling. At the top there was a herd of deer which scared the hyenas and the herd rushed into the gorge where Simba is.
