A summer day
Has rain or sun,
But either way
I find it fun.
To stand in rain
That/s pouring down
Or lie in sun
That paints me brown.
In summer I like to play outside.
In summer I like to go to the seaside.
I like to pick up shells,
To put them on the shelf.
That’s what I like to do sometimes,
When it comes the summertime.

I tried to lift my arm to reach a glass of water next to my bed, then almost screamed. There was a sharp pain in my chest. The doctor smiled sympathetically and told me (7) to move. He explained that I (8) been involved in a car accident. ‘You’ve broken a few ribs, ’ he said. ‘I’ll (9) you an injection for the pain, and then as soon (10) you’re feeling better, we’ll get you something to eat.’
