You may think that there are many ancient buildings in the city but the situation is different. During World War II the city was destroyed, including the famous city cathedral. After the war the city was rebuilt, but they didn’t know what to do with the cathedral. Many years passed and at last a new cathedral was built near the destroyed one. There is an interesting museum in Coventry, it is the Transport Museum. It has a big collection of English cars, motorbikes and bicycles, some cars are real masterpieces. Tomorrow we’ll go to Warwick, a small town that is near Coventry. It is famous for its castle. It was built for the family of Lord Brooke. Warwick school is famous, too. It is a school for boys and it is one of the oldest boys’ schools in England. Nobody knows when it was founded but in the tenth century the name of the school appeared in some documents. Later you’ll see the castle in the town of Kenilworth that was built as a fortress. Centuries ago Queen Elizabeth I stayed at the castle during her visit to the town. No one lives in the castle now. And at last we’ll go to Rugby. The town of Rugby is famous for rugby that was invented there. The game comes from the famous public school of Rugby. ​
