What I Do In My Free Time.

It is natural that people need some time to relax and to do things they like. As for me, I have many interesting hobbies and free time activities, but unfortunately I don’t have much free time these days. I’m studying hard to pass the end of year exams, so I’m mostly busy. However, when I do get some free minutes, I try to spend them well. One of my all time hobbies is photography. I like capturing the surrounding nature and sometimes I get really nice shots. Apart from that, I like cooking. My specialty is spaghetti with Bolognese sauce. I cook this dish on special occasions and I also bake brownies. When it’s winter I go ice skating in my free time. It’s one of my favourite pastimes. In my opinion, skating is not only a spectacular sport, but also a useful exercise for leg muscles and other parts of the body. When it’s summer, I prefer swimming as an active pastime. It feels refreshing and healthy to swim in a nearby lake. At weekends I usually meet up with friends. We go to the cinema, to the coffee house, to the theatre or to the shopping center. Each time we try to spend time with useful pursuits. Every day I have some free time before going to sleep. I like to dedicate these rare minutes to reading. It relaxes my mind and ensures good sleep. Most of all I like long holidays, when I can travel to sunny destinations with my parents. Last year during the summer holiday we went to Montenegro and had lots of fun there swimming, sunbathing and playing beach volleyball. In conclusion I’d like to say that people should spend their free time actively to stay healthy and fit.

Что касается меня, у меня много хобби и интересных занятий, но, к сожалению, у меня немного свободного времени в эти дни. Я упорно тружусь, чтобы сдать итоговые экзамены, так что в основном я занята. Я предпочитаю готовить это блюдо по особым случаям, а также я пеку шоколадные кексы. Зимой, в свободное время, я люблю кататься на коньках. Это одно из моих любимых занятий. На мой взгляд, катание на коньках является не только зрелищным видом спорта, но и полезным упражнением для мышц ног и других частей тела. Летом я предпочитаю плавать, чтобы активно проводить время. Плавая в ближайшем озере, я чувствую бодрость и прилив сил. По выходным я обычно встречаюсь с друзьями. Мы идем в кино, в кофейню, в театр или в торговый центр. Каждый раз мы стараемся провести время с пользой. Ежедневно у меня есть немного свободного времени перед сном. Я предпочитаю посвящать эти редкие минуты чтению. Это расслабляет мой ум и обеспечивает хороший сон. Больше всего мне нравятся длительные каникулы, когда можно съездить в теплые края с родителями. В году во время летних каникул мы ездили в Черногорию и отлично провели там время, купаясь, загорая и играя в пляжный волейбол. В заключение я хотела бы сказать, что люди должны проводить свое свободное время активно, чтобы оставаться здоровым и в хорошей физической форме.

I had a great day! I 1 woke up at 8 o’clock and the sky was blue. I met Larry and George at the port 2 at nine and we left for Little Island. The sea was calm and the trip only took 3 an hour (the/a/an). When we arrived, we went 4 swimming and then we had a picnic on a beach.

5 In the afternoon we went for a walk around the island. We found an empty house on the top of the hill. There were 6 a lot of strange paintings on the walls of the house. It was cool! When we came out of the house, the sky was grey and then it started to rain. We decided to leave the island but 7 then the sea became very rough. The boat moved up and down and from side to side. We 8 were afraid but it was also fun. It 9 took us two hours to get back but we arrived safely. When I got home, mum was very 10 worried but I told her that I had had a really lovely day!
