UK: May DayMay Day is a spring 1) (CELEBRATE)that takes place on the first Monday of May. It is a publicholiday when people have the day off work and schoolsare shut. It is a 2) (TRADITION) springfestival, but usually only people in rural areas stillcelebrate it. They have a parade which is led by the MayQueen and the Green Man. The May Queen is a younggirl with a crown of spring flowers and the Green Man isdressed in a costume of leaves to represent the spirit ofspring. The 3) (PROCEED) has groups ofMorris Dancers. These are men with 4) (FLOWER) hats and bells around their knees, who dancearound each other shaking handkerchiefs and bangingsticks. At the festival field, there is a Maypole with ribbonstied to the top of it. Young girls dance around the poleholding the ribbons and make beautiful patterns. There isalso a funfair with rides and stalls selling sweet treats.​

In my opinion, summer is the most beautiful time of the year, because it is very warm, everything is beautiful, and we have a great opportunity to relax. And summer is a time of holidays and vacations. We can go anywhere, have a wonderful time at the pond, in the shade of emerald green, splash in the warm water. And you can go to the mountains, ride a bike or play all sorts of games.

I want to share my impressions of the most memorable moment of the last summer vacation. In July, my family and I organized a trip to the forest for barbecue. A fire was kindled, meat prepared for roasting, and a tent pitched. While my parents were preparing dinner, I went into the woods to work up an appetite.

The forest that day was magnificent! The air smelled of flowers, honey, and strawberries. Everything was green, except for the trunks of the trees, which stood out in bright patches against the dark green background. Birds chirped in their own language, a woodpecker tapped. воть
