Thanks for your letter. It was so nice to hear from you. I am sorry I haven’t written for a long time but I was busy with my project at school.  

In your letter, you ask me about books. The last book that I read was a detective novel. My sister recommended it because she enjoyed it a lot. Dear Ben,

I am so happy to receive a letter from you. It was very pleasant to read about your plans for the next school holiday. As for me, I also plan to travel a lot and have fun with my family. However, I will take my favourite book with me as well.  

Currently, I am reading Anna Karenina. I know that many people would say that it is too old and out-dated, but it helps me understand the tragedy of those times. People could not live normally. They were always under pressure from society. The worst thing is that it was better to hide the truth than to be judged by those who do not deserve to claim what is right or what is wrong.

As you can see, I like classical and philosophical literature pieces. They make me think critically. I believe such books would never let you feel bored. I am sure you should try to read some books like this during your next holiday or maybe at the weekend if you have enough time.
