There are billions and billions of planets in the universe, so there are probably millions and millions that have life, alien life. It’s also likely that some of the aliens are much more intelligent than we are. I wonder what we would do if really intelligent aliens visited the Earth. What would we ask them? -Тому що, це пора, коли навкруги багато квітів. Ще навіть білі «свічки» на каштанах світяться. Вечорами тепло, але повіває свіжий вітерець. Не сидиться вдома, хочеться гуляти, веселитися. І люди навколо відчувають щось подібне: у всіх святковий, піднесений настрій.

-Так, це дійсно удово. Я люблю гуляти влітку.

-А ще, під час літніх канікул можна досхочу порадіти життю: мандрувати, купатися на пляжі, грати в футбол, баскетбол або бадмінтон, кататися на велосипеді.

-І дійсно, є час для різних захоплень.

-У мене з*являється  час читати всі книжки, які заманеться, а не тільки за шкільною програмою.  

-Але ж влітку часто буває спекотно та незатишно, особливо в великому запиленому місті.

-Можливо.. Та  мені аж ніяк не хочеться проміняти це надмірне тепло на зимні холоди та теплі валянки!  

-А мені навпаки подобається сніжна зима. Так чудово бродити засніженим парком або піти до лісу на лижах! А Новий рік! Хіба є такі, хто не любить це свято? У кожній оселі стоїть прикрашена ялинка, і люди роблять одне одному подарунки.

-Так, тепер я гадаю, що і зиму потрібно любити, хоча б за її свята. Та чи не часто вона лютує?

-Бува... Але як би не лютувала зима — діти їй раді: настала чудова пора для веселих зимових розваг.

Draniki (Potato pancakes)

500 g of peeled potatoes;

2 tablespoons of flour;

1 onion;

1 egg;

2 tablespoons of oil;

2–3 tablespoons of milk;

salt (about ¾ of a teaspoon);

pepper.

Instructions:

Grate potatoes and give the mass a good squeeze.

Put potatoes into the large bowl, add an onion, egg, flour, salt, milk, oil and pepper.

Heat some oil in the frying pan.

Put some potato mass onto the frying pan with the tablespoon. Fry draniki for 2-3 minutes, then flip then and fry on the other side.

Serve hot with sour cream.

Ингредиенты:

1 луковица;

Подавать горячими со сметаной.
