                         Negative sides of watching TV:

1. Watching TV programs is a health hazard. Scientists have found that every hour of watching TV increases the risk of death by 11%. And if a person watches TV for more than four hours a day, then the risk increases by 80%. Especially when people with cardiovascular disease and diabetes do it.

2. People who watch programs for less than three hours a day burn more calories (an average of 119 calories).

3. Children who spend a lot of time watching TV from infancy later have low school performance. Poor contact with peers. Also, these children have reduced memory and attention.

                           The positives of watching TV:

1. Watching films with subtitles in the original language helps in learning a foreign language.

2. Television helps lonely people. Watching all sorts of entertaining shows softens loneliness. But unhappy people spend 20% more time watching TV than happy people.
