Put the pararaphs in the correct order. There is one example. 1 E 2 3 4 5 6 7 The Village School A Over the months, this tiny Infants’ Room with its friendships, fights and warm atmosphere was a second home for Laurie. He would play, break things, laugh, cry, fall asleep and make cheeky jokes about the teacher. He gradually learned how to get along with other people, people who were not from his family. B Laurie soon started to feel more comfortable at school. The Infant Room was full of toys he had never seen: dolls, soldiers, animals, coloured wooden shapes, model men to paint. He grew as tough as the other children. When another child stole the food his mother had given him for lunch, he would not hesitate to steal someone else’s apple. C This happy period of play and fun did not last forever. The first big change was when it was decided his brother Jack, who was with Laurie in Infants, was too clever to stay there anymore. Jack was so bright that he would make the rest of the children uncomfortable by studying quietly and asking the teacher to bring him another book. D Laurie was a natural infant, happy to do nothing, to sit doing nothing but dream, to cut out men from paper or draw pictures in a book. But his time, too, was coming to an end. Suddenly he found he was able to count to a hundred, he could write his name in large and small letters and he could take one number away from another. Then the call came for him. Infant no longer, Laurie was moved up. He was ready for the Big Room. E The village to which the family had come was a collection of twenty or thirty houses on the side of a hill. The rural school where Laurie would in time go to study, was a small, narrow, stone building that was divided into two classrooms by a thin, wooden wall. Small children would enter through the door marked ‘Infants’ . Gradually they would move through the school and emerge a few years later with all the education most of them would need. F Laurie spent the rest of the day, sitting at a desk, making holes in paper. When he got home, his mother asked him about his first day. He replied angrily, “They never gave me my present.” Laurie’s mother replied that she was surprised that someone had promised him a present. " Y es, they did” Laurie continued. "They said, ‘S it here for the present, ’ but no one gave me one.” He felt humiliated when his and sisters laughed at his confusion between two meanings of ‘present’ . G The morning came one day when Laurie’s sisters said it was the day for him to start school. He told them he wasn’t going but they ignored his protests and they carried him kicking and screaming to the playground. He arrived at school and everyone immediately crowded round this new victim. The other kids pushed him around and pulled at him and everyone was laughing and shouting. Laurie was rescued by the sixteen-year-old teacher’s helper who took him into the classroom and dried his eyes.
On January 1, I and my companions Maxim Reznik, Maxim Pankov and Artem Leontiev failed in their attempt to find the treasure of the lost Bili Hobbs!
If anyone does not know this is such a mythical hero who in the 16th century drowned with his crew, carrying with him a golden treasure.
We woke up in the sand by the sea it was not a big island surrounded by the sea. First of all, we remembered the lessons of survival that we learned in the lessons
LIFE SAFETY FUNDAMENTALS. We gave each other nicknames Reznik-cutter, Pankov-punk, Leontiev-Leon, and I Mironov-world ... First of all, the cutter went for food, and I remained with punk
Make a secluded haven, and Leon went for firewood for the evening fire ... (Mironov)
The world and the punk were left to make shelter, and I left behind the food I saw on the coconut tree decided to take them off after all the food took a stone and knocked down pieces of 3 and left it where and were
I think then take away on the way I saw a tree on which grew bananas. I typed them up to the dump, as well as the coconuts that I found earlier. Returning from the guys was already ready
Mini-house, although it was small, but still at least something! (Resnik)
I with the world collected a lot of bamboo and branches with hay for the house began to randomly put sticks in the ground and make a roof something happened, but for the first time it will fit and this
During the day it was hot as in the stove, and at night it was cold as at the north pole, but still the fire that made the Leon very strongly saved we fried fish on it, boiled water
And they warmed themselves. Then I made a fishing pole out of a stick, the lazy and the stone fragment used bait as a bait, and the fish on them very well pecked them ... (Pankov)
When we woke up the first thing I went for firewood. Since I knew that in such a place it was cold because of the wind, it surrounded from all sides like the sea
Found several dry logs broken by the hurricane that most likely raged here before us brought them to the beach where the guys have all prepared for a comfortable
Arrivals on the island! In the evening I lit a bonfire from the dry leaves of palm trees and lighters that remained in my pocket!
Fry fish caught punk it was delicious and more satisfying than bananas and coconuts!
So we stayed on this island for about a week. When we were found by local anglers on huge ships, we were happy! They took us to the nearest settlement. (Mironov)
