My Favourite Composer
When I have a free time, I often listen to music of different genres. Classical music is the best when I want to relax. My favourite composer is Antonio Vivaldi. I love his series of violin concerts known as “The Four Seasons”. Vivaldi was born on March 4th 1678, in Venice. His father, Giovanni Battista, taught him to play the violin at the very young age. After Vivaldi learned how to play the violin, they toured Venice together playing music for people. By the age of 24 Antonio had a good music knowledge. He then started teaching it and soon he presented his first performance for the French Embassy. At the same time he started conducting the orchestra and staging concerts. His music then was full of drama. His violin-based works were marked by virtuosity. The complete collection of these works was published only in the 20th century.

Time was running out. The game was exciting and dynamic but the score was still 0-0. Jim couldn't take his eyes off the TV and didn't hear when his father came into the room.
“Who is playing?” he asked.
“The Spanish Club and the Portuguese,” Jim knew that his dad was not a fan and didn't go into details. “Who are you supporting?”
“The Spanish. If the team manages to win this game, it'll get to the final.” “They will. The final score will be 2-1 to the Spanish Club.” Jim turned to his dad: “How do you know?”
“It's not me. A colleague of mine has predicted the results of ten matches. No mistake yet.
Today's the tenth game.” Jim looked at his father again. “Sounds a bit crazy. But if I were able to predict the results of the game...”
If you were able to predict it, it wouldn't be interesting to watch football at all.
“Are you hungry by the way? I have ordered some pizza. Will you join me?” “Yes, sure,” Jim turned to his father.
“But I still can't understand...” And at that very moment the Spanish forward scored the first goal.
Task 3.
Lots of people enjoy spending time at the seaside. Some of them like diving very much. They say that underwater life is very beautiful.
However, for most of us scuba diving is impossible
Snorkeling is much easier. It is also less dangerous than diving with an aqualung
Snorkeling equipment contains only a special mask and a curved tube.
«With the mask you can see the underwater world, it has rubber straps to fit your head comfortably and you use the tube to breathe.
If you are not a very good swimmer, the best place for snorkeling is on a reef. It’s not deep but there are lots of colourful fish.
“Who is playing?” he asked.
