Interview your parents and write about their working day​

1. Yesterday my uncle repaired the car, while I was doing my homework.

2. Today is Monday and we are having dinner in the dining-room now.

3. I have two brothers and one sister. We are having a great fun at the moment.

4. What were you doing when the accident happened?

5. My elder brother is very intelligent. He wants to be a doctor.

6. She is having a terrible headache right now. She needs to take an aspirin.

7. A: Where did your sister bear ? B: I don't know to be honest.

8. When my parents were young, they used to listen to Rolling Stones.

9. My sister believes in magic. She always tries tricks on me!

10. Every morning I get up at 7 o'clock, I have my breakfast. When I was eating, my mother is preparing my lunch. When I finish having breakfast, I always take my bike, and I go quickly to school. I always arrive late! My teacher don't like this.

11. A: Hey! What are you doing? B: I'm doingmy homework. I don't want to get a bad grade tomorrow.

12. Once upon a time, there was a horrible witch. She loved scaring children and she lived near a school. Every day, she invites children to her house with a really scary face, but children did not want to go.

13. A: What are you doing in London these days? B: I am loking for a job.

14. Are you sending an email to Bill now?

15. When the postman arrived, my father was having a shower.

16. Every night I go to the cinema.

17. I'm not going to work today.

David and Rosa’s day

David is a bank manager and Rosa is a doctor (1) d. in a large hospital. David gets (2) e. up at 7.30am and has a shower. He leaves home at 8.30 and goes (3) g. to work (4) a. by train. Не arrives (5) c. at the bank (6) b. at 9.00. Rosa gets (7) f. up at 9.30 because she doesn’t start work (8) h. until 1.00 in the afternoon. She catches the bus to the hospital at 12.15.

David finishes work at 5.30pm and goes shopping in a supermarket (9) i. near the bank. Then he goes home and cooks the dinner. He eats alone

in the kitchen at 7.00 and he usually watches TV in the living room until Rosa arrives home at 10.00. She often has her dinner (10) j. in front of the TV. David goes bed at 11.00, but Rosa usually goes to bed a bit later.
