the internet has made the world into a hyper-connected global village. a century ago, connecting with someone on the other side of the world on a real-time basis would have been scoffed off as an impossible idea. in fact, radio had just become a mainstream technology. the telephone was a luxury that was restricted to a very few users. instant connectivity was hard to come by. analog wires made connectivity difficult, and the quality was nothing close to the broadband quality of today.

thank you for letter .

i am really sorry i haven't written back,i wasn't at home.i went on my holiday to  italy with my friend.we went by boat  and car.we were there for three weeks and we stayed in youth hostels.we had a very good time.we lay on the beach, sunbathed and read books.we went to the beach almost every day.we visited a lot of historical places.the weather was great and the food was fantastic.

what do you do in your free time?
