One of the goals for the summer IS to walk more. В английском языке двоеточие (и тире) не используются так, как в русском, то есть вместо это.

IT BECAME A DAILY THING not so long ago. Вместо "I got into the habit" лучше использовать "It became a daily thing"  ("Это стало обыденностью"), то есть ты делаешь эту вещь каждый день.
