Jack london. "martin iden". fiction/autobiography. the story is about a simple sailor who is very ambitious and is willing to educate himself and become a writer. he is not accepted since he is poor, no one wants to publish his works, and the love of his life cannot marry him. eventually, he gains success and at this point everyone who used to despise him, turn to him and became incredibly kind to him all of a sudden. this book is autobiography, jack london describes his early years, his strive for education and enormous powers to keep going. it is an amazing book, it really spoke to me. i would definitely recommend it to everyone. it shows that success doesn't come without courage and a strong will. this book is very encouraging.
