Ilike pop-music. my favourite group is the beatles. on the 24-th of october 1962,’ love me do’, entered the british top thirty. it was the first single by an unknown gro from liverpool called the beatles. it was the first of a number of big hits that would make john lennon, paul mccartney, george harrison and ringo starr the most successful group the world has ever known. during the 1960s, the beatles were always in the news, headlines, films, world tours and sometimes scandal. after a decade of successful music and films, the beatles finally decided to break up in the early seventies, after public disagreements about money and personalities. although many fans hoped there would be a reunion throughout the 1970s this became impossible with the tragic murder of john lennon in new york in 1980. the surviving beatles are still deeply involved in musical and film projects, but many fans still long for the music of the 60s.

Once a pale and thin man came to  me and gave me a note from a friend who was a doctor. i was asked  to help the man. i remembered that my friend  had  told me of this man before. he had a very weak heart. i wondered if he wanted me to do something for him. "i  will be  thankful to you if you find me a job that does not require any physical effort," he explained. the next day i  rang to a kind theatrical manager and asked if he had any work for an invalid. "if he manages to stand for fifteen minutes, i shall take him. he will act in the last scene in a play we are staging now." on the first performance of the play i  saw him standing near the front of the stage with a spear in his hand and looking very happy and proud. some time later i learned from my friend, the doctor, that the man with the weak heart  had fallen  in love  with a dancer and asked her to become his wife.  the woman fell in love  with him too and one day she visited the doctor to find out about the man's health. she made him tell her all the truth and fainted when the doctor told her that the man would die very soon. a month later while i was returning from the party, i  met my friend. he said that woman  had written a letter to the man with a weak heart. next day he was found  dead in his room. it was joy that killed him because she had agreed to become his wife.
