Reading Test. Read the text. Are the statements true (T), false (F) or is there no inform (6В) At the moment we’re in Venice. We’re staying here for three days in a small hotel not far from the Piazza San Marco and the Rialto Bridge. The room is big and we can see the canal from our window. It’s fantastic! We first came here 20 years ago when we got married, so we decided to come here again. Yesterday evening we went on a gondola ride and it was beautiful to be on the water. Musicians sang to us and people gave us flowers. This morning we had coffee in the Piazza. I think it’s the most expensive place in the world for coffee but it was nice watching all the people walking around. Then we had lunch at a great restaurant. The food was excellent but very expensive! Venice is more expensive than London. This afternoon we’re visiting Murano – they make wonderful coloured glass there and I want to buy some presents for my family. We’re staying here for two more days and then we’re taking the train to Florence. We want to visit all the art galleries. We aren’t going to Rome this year because we went there last summer. We loved the old buildings, but the hotel wasn’t very good so we didn’t enjoy the holiday very much. This holiday is much better. 1.They are staying in a big hotel in Venice.
