He 0 was born in Tamdy village on 19th July in 1984 and 1 there with his family. He 2 a mostly happy childhood and was interested in films and cinema from an early age. He 3 a lot at school and 4from high school in 2002. After high school, he 5at an acting school and then 6 the Kazakh National Academy of Arts in 2004. He is best known for directing the film Harmony Lesson which was filmed in a small village in Kazakhstan and is about a teenage boy growing up in the village.​
