All members of the family gather around the table which includes a traditional roasted turkey, served with mashed potatoes, different vegetables and a savoury cran berry sauce. The entire feast is supplemented with a pumpkin pie and apple сидр. Before the meal people pray to express their gratitude for all they have. A lot of costumed parades are held around the country. The most picturesque one, organized in New York, unites more than 10 thousand participants and about 3 million and a half spectators. Macy’s Parade is really worth watching. As for me, I would like to take part in this marvelous event and enjoy its hearty atmosphere.
