Hi Samantha!

I hope you had a great weekend! Let me tell you about mine. On Saturday, I needed some smart clothes for my job interview next week, so I asked my mom to lend me £100. She was kind enough to give it to me. But here's where it gets a bit complicated. Before that, I had already borrowed £50 from her, so when I borrowed the additional £100, I owed her a total of £150 now. It's a lot, right?

Anyway, let's move on. So, the first thing I did was spend £95 on a new jacket and trousers. The jacket cost £80, but luckily, I found a shop that was selling it for only £15 because it had a small mark on it. On the other hand, the trousers were supposed to be £30, but because of a mark as well, I only had to pay £15 for them. Can you believe it? I saved some money there!

After my shopping, I met my dad at an Italian restaurant for lunch. We decided to share a pizza, and it was delicious. My dad was really surprised when I told him about the prices and how much I had saved. By the way, the restaurant also sold recipe books, and I really wanted to buy one for Mum. Guess what? My dad was so nice that he lent me £10 to buy the recipe book. Isn't he the best dad ever?

Now, I'm just hoping that I get the job because, as you can see, I've spent quite a bit of money and I really need to start paying back what I owe my mom. I hope everything works out!

Love,
Lizzy
