ответ: We use conditional sentences of the II type when expressing actions, the implementation of which   in certain situations in the present and in the future turns out to be unrealistic. The   probability that the action will occur is zero.

Example: If I studied, I would pass the exam. (If-clause at the beginning). I would pass the exam, If I studied. (if-clause at the end)

We use type III conditional sentences to describe imaginary situations related to the past. condition not possible to fulfill (too late).

Example: If I wouldn’t drink so much, I wouldn’t have got a fine. If the weather had been nice 2 days ago, I would have gone to the beach. If I had gone to Egypt, I could have learned Arabic.

b) 1. If we had endless amounts of money for space exploration, we would have already overcome these problems and built the first space colonies.

2. Mars would be another option, but the problems there would be similar to those on the moon.

3. So maybe colonising the moon would be a better solution!

4. There would still be 10 planets for colonisation in our, 'neighbourhood', Hawkins said. (можно написать это предложения полностью, если хотите).
