Помпеи был древним городом возле неаполя и горы  визувий, вулкан в италии. это был оживленный город и его узкие улочки всегда были полны людей. в центре города была большая площадь и суд(зал совещаний). там был огромный амфитеатр и два театра поменьше, где люди смотрели выступления. так же там были храмы и публичные бани и у множества зданий был водопровод. в городе было много булочных, ресторанов и даже отелей. к сожалению, это был не везучий город и в 79 году нашей эры извержение вулкана визувия уничтожило город и похоронило его в прахе.
