my favourite monster

when i had my fifth birthday party, i was given a dvd with a few episodes of sesame street. that was the day when i first saw elmo and i liked him immediately.

elmo is a short red furry monster that looks and thinks like a little child. he has got big eyes, a large orange nose and a big smile on his face. he likes to hug people, he is curious, open-minded and he loves to learn new things. this monster never gets angry, he is always optimistic. elmo was like a friend for me and i learnt together with him.

there are a lot of monsters in sesame street but elmo is still my favourite.

A hobby is a special activity that you do in your spare time. Hobbies are of different kinds. It's hard to name all leisure activities, entertainments   and hobbies practised by people. Collecting​ stamps, coins , pocket calendars and the like, listening to music and reading a book can be called indoor hobbies. Drawing, painting , photography, writing poetry and the like may be called both indoor and outdoor hobbies. Gardening, hunting, fishing , swimming and bird-watching are all outdoor hobbies. Each individual selects his hobby based on his interests and tastes. Hobbies not only give a sense of excitement but also educate. For example, collecting stamps or coins of various countries, no doubt, gives pleasure. At the same time it helps us to learn the geography, history and culture of those countries.
