Насколько я знаю,в этот праздник не отмечается это чисто американский праздник, который отмечается каждый год в  четвертый четверг ноября.многие символы  дня   пришли из того далекого года.  в те времена водилось много дичи, например, дикие индюшки ,  которые и стали традиционным праздничным блюдом. празднуется этот праздник всегда в кругу семьи и друзей. за большим столом собираются близкие, родные люди, несколько поколений. в память о том времени в этот день принято есть то же, что ели в тот день предки: индюшку (ее с клюквенным соусом) и тыквенный пирог.
