The main reason for visiting russia is its unique culture and architecture; they are simply too great to miss seeing!   you are sure to find lots of entertainments and learn a different way of life. russian cuisine is very diverse and delicious. however, you should remember that moscow the capital of russia is not cheap. food, transport and services are more expensive there than anywhere else in the country.russia is of course a lovely place to go to. it has so much to offer as far as world-famous museums, theatres and galleries are concerned. tourists are usually impressed by numerous churches and cathedrals. there are good tourist factilities in moscow, st petesburg and some other large cities. and the metro in moscow is efficient and rather cheap.however, russia is not attractive to many tourists for a variety of reasons. firstly, english is not spoken or understood except in the major cities. without knowing the russian language it is difficult to travel in russia.  then, hotels and train accommodations are below european standards. and in moscow and many other cities the traffic is heavy and you may stuck in a massive traffic jam.russian winters are rather severe and if you can't stand cold you'd better not go there in winter time.to conclude russia is deffinitely worth visiting, because it is one of the most important and influenrial countries in the world. besides, moscow is a wonderful city. all foreigners are greatly impressed with the city and its sights. and what is more,where else will you find such beautiful landscapes? the country lies in four climatic zones. there are many national parks in the country, mighty rivers, the deepest in the world lake baikal and lots of other attractive places where you can relax and have a good time, meet hospitable people and be happy.

Наша страна. наша окружающая среда. в россии так много больших и маленьких рек,зелёных рек,высоких гор,озёр и морей. наша планета -- наш дом. я думаю,люди должны заботиться о своей родине. по этому важному вопросу есть несколько законов и решений. у нас есть государственные организации,уделяющие внимание этой проблеме. международные конвенции обращают внимание и на контроль за населением. в нашей стране множество промышленных предприятий,поэтому мы не можем игнорировать проблему защиты окружающей среды. в основном мы и должны нацеливаться на защиту. наша окр.среда должна быть чистой. что же мы должны делать для этого? мы обязаны контролировать загрязнение воздуха и воды,изучать человеческое влияние на жизнь животных,растений и нас самих. если мы не будем использовать надлежащим образом,то загрязним наш мир. наши заводы и фабрики сбрасывают отходы в воду и воздух,тем самым загрязняя. в больших городах много видов транспорта,потому необходимо следить за защитой окружающей среды и здоровьем людей. радиация. сейчас это уже становится серьёзной проблемой. она оказалась губительной для здоровья людей,умерших от радиации в чернобыле несколько лет назад. это было настоящей трагедией. другой проблемой считаются землетрясения в америке. наши учёные пытаются прогнозировать их,там мы можем защититься от них. по всему миру люди делают всё,чтобы защитить природу,обогатить свои страны,сделать свою жизнь счастливее. 

London is the capital of great britain, its political, economic and cultural centre. it's one of the largest cities in the world. its population is more than million people. london is situated on the river thames. the city is very old and beautiful. it was founded more than two thousand years ago. traditionally london is divided into several parts: the city, the west end, the east end and westminster. the city is the oldest part of london, its financial and business centre. the heart of the city is the stock exchange. westminster is the most important part of the capital. it's the administrative centre. the houses of parliament, the seat of the british government, are there. it's a very beautiful building with two towers and a very big clock called big ben. big ben is really the bell which strikes every quarter of an hour. opposite the houses of parliament is westminster abbey. it's a very beautiful church built over 900 years ago. the tombs of many great statesmen, scientists and writers are there.to the west of westminster is west end. here we find most of the big shops, hotels, museums, art galleries, theatres and concert halls. picadilly circus is the heart of london's west end. in the west end there are wide streets with beautiful houses and many parks, gardens and squares. to the east of westminster is the east end, an industrial district of the capital. there are no parks or gardens in the east end and you can't see many fine houses there. most of the plants and factories are situated there. london has many places of interest. one of them is buckingham palace. it's the residence of the queen. the english are proud of trafalgar square, which was named so in memory of the victory at the battle. there in 1805 the english fleet defeated the fleet of france and spain. the last place of interest i should like to mention, is the british museum, the biggest museum in london. the museum is famous for its library -one of the richest in the world. all london's long-past history is told by its streets. there are many streets in london which are known all over the" world. among them oxford street, downing street and a lot of others can be mentioned. and tourists are usually attracted not only by the places of interest but by the streets too. in conclusion i should say if you are lucky enough to find yourself in london some day you will have a lot to see and enjoy there.
