ГЕНЕРАЛЬСКИЙ ДОМ с привидениями.

В начале XX века в Генеральский дом несколько раз бросали бомбы местные террористы. 25 апреля 1909 года на плотине недалеко от особняка был зарублен топором ижевский генерал, начальник оружейного производства Васильев. А в ноябре 1918 года в этом здании расположилась ЧК красных. В самом доме и около него были расстреляны десятки участников Ижевского восстания и простых жителей. Когда после окончания Гражданской войны здесь обосновались различные учреждения, их работники рассказывали, что на ночь в доме лучше не оставаться - мол, можно увидеть или услышать призраки замученных здесь людей.

Дому уже 163 года и в нем жили руководители, имевшие, как правило, чин генерала Ижевского завода с семьями. Вот и генеральский. В Ижевске вообще мало старых зданий. А это - особенное.

Но находится в плачевном состоянии много лет и никто не берется его восстанавливать.

Сейчас это трэш, на фоне которого можно снимать модные фотки для Инстаграм..

Было и новое - правое крыло здания отдано творческим коллективам. Внутри занимается театральная труппа и создана маленькая уютная библиотека.

В доме, во время революции работал Артем Сергеев, который не успел ничем себя запятнать, так как имел несчастье/счастье умереть рано. В честь него был назван город Артемовск.

История Артема (партийная кличка) имеет печальное продолжение в наши годы. Памятник, стоявший в центре города, снесли и новая власть вернула городу старое и не очень благозвучное название - Бахмут.

На мой взгляд, Генеральский дом является неотъемлемой частью архитектуры набережной. Это один из элементов исторического наследия города, и, безусловно, его нужно беречь.
