Книга издавна ценилась обществом. Она несла в себе нужную информацию, а некоторые книгиявляются бесценными, так как хранят уникальную информацию.

К книге относились с особым уважением, купить ее было не так легко. Покупать книги и учится, могли только состоятельные люди.

Однако время меняется, и сейчас книга не пользуется таким уважением, как ранее. Сейчас есть очень много других источников, из которых можно узнать все необходимою информацию: интернет, радио, телевидение, газеты, журналы.

Отношение к книгаму современных людей совершенно иное, чем десять лет назад. Мало кто сейчас ходит в библиотеки, чтобы написать реферат. Достаточно слазить в интернет и скачать нужную тему, и все не нужно долго мучится. Мало кто сейчас увлекается фантастическими романами, рассказами. Видеодиски, кинотеатры, спутниковое телевидение, столько фильмов интересных можно посмотреть, зачем тогда читать книги?

Книга в первую очередь воспитывает человека, она открывает перед ним новый интересный мир, формирует у него жизненные взгляды и убеждения, она развивает, учит мыслить, фантазировать, мечтать. Это основные ее функции, и за это книгу нужно уважать. Возможно, со временем книга снова обретет свою былую популярность, и читать ее будет в первую очередь модно.
