The inventor has a unit for measuring the density of magnetic induction. Nikola Tesla was born in the Croatian village of Smilyan (then Austria-Hungary) on July 10, 1856. His parents Milutin and Georgina were far from science - the father served as a priest, and the mother, by today's standards, was a housewife. His early childhood boy spent in a small homeland, there he graduated from the first grade of primary school.

Then the father was given a new order and a large family with five children moved to the town of Gospic. By that time, the elder brother of Nikola Dane was killed.
