My favourite domestic animal is a cat. Its name is Chapa. My cat is very fat and kind. Its head isn’t big. Its neck is short. Its paws are small with big clutches. Its  eyes are green and clever. Its ears are small.  My cat likes milk and chicken hens. Most of all Chapa likes to sleep. I think cats are very careful and clever.

 Мое любимое домашнее животное – кот. Его зовут Чапа. Мой кот очень толстый и добрый. У него небольшая голова. Его шея короткая. Его лапы маленькие с большими когтями. Его глаза зеленые и умные. Его ушки маленькие. Мой кот любит молоко и куриные шейки. Больше всего Чапа любит спать. Я думаю, коты очень аккуратные и умные.

It was early in November and the Canadian winter was already here. I sat in my chair, just after breakfast, and looked through the one window of our shanty, from which I could see the prairie and the end of our cowshed. Suddenly a large gray animal dashed across the prairie into the cowshed, and a smaller black and white animal ran after it. 

 

 

I have got a dog. His name is Sharik, but we call him Rex. He is very big and he is brown. But he is not angry, he likes children and he likes to play very much. He doesn't like drunk people and cats. We go for a walk every day and he runs with me and with cats. He likes to eat meat, but he doesn't like vegetables. I like my pet very much.
