Road Safety When Walking

Where there is a pavement, use it.

If you are looking after somebody younger than you, always hold their hand when using the road.

Where there is no pavement, walk on the right hand side of the road to face the traffic coming towards you.

Take special care if you can't see the road very far ahead.

Help other road users see you. Wear or carry something light coloured or bright.

To cross the road safely:

1. Find a safe place to cross.

2. Stop just before you get to the kerb.

3. Look all around for traffic and listen.

4. If traffic is coming, let it pass.

5. When it is safe, go straight across the road – do not run, keep looking and listening while you cross.

Everyone at least once in his life did something that he later regretted. I'm not an exception. There have been several things in my past that I feel ashamed of. Because of a big fight, I quarreled with a close friend forever. And if I had known that everything would be so, I would have acted differently.(условное) At the moment, I just want to develop the qualities of a good person to whom people are drawn. Now I try not to regret anything I did. But if I ever have the opportunity to correct my mistakes, I will do my best!(условное)
