Уже стоит в отрицательной форме.

В данном случае слово «more” используется, как «еще». Если переводить предложение дословно, то получается так:
— Он останавливается еще на двух станциях и нигде больше.
Если же удалить это «more», то перевод получится следующим:
— Он останавливается на двух станциях и нигде больше.
То есть, во втором случае, без использования вс слова, получается не совсем верная формулировка, которую можно воспринять так, словно этот самый он остановился сразу на двух станциях. В первом случае уточняющее слово как бы само рассказывает нам, что «вот он обходил всякие станции, а после решил, что остановится еще на двух и все, с него хватит».
