Соединённые штаты Америки находятся в центральной части северно американского континента между 2 океанами : атлантическим на востоке, тихим океаном на западе. Канада на севере и Мексика на юге - единственные страны которые граничат с США. Сша состоит  из 3 отдельных частей. Это гавайские острова в Тихом океане, Аляска и основная часть (США). Здесь 50 штатов с США. Они разные по размеру,популяции и экономическому развитию. Самый маленький - Rhode остров и самый большой- Техас. Вся территория США составляет около 9 миллионов квадратных километров. Популяция составляет около 230 миллионов людей. США это большая страна и климатические условия очень разные в различных местах. Есть много больших городов в Соединённых штатах: Нью Йорк, Филадельфия,Хьюстон,Чикаго, Детроит ,Лос Анджелес - самые большие из них. США с экономической точки зрения самая могущественная страна в мире. В США правит парламент. Правительство имеет три филиала: Конгресс,Президент и Верховный суд. Здесь 2 политические партии в США:Демократическая партия, их символ это ослик, и Республиканская партия, их символ это слон. Президент избирается на 4-летний срок и не больше чем на 2 раза. Конгресс имеет два дома: Сенат и дом представителей. Верховный суд это высший суд в стране.
