Serbian-American engineer and physicist Nikola Tesla (1856-1943) made dozens of breakthroughs in the production, transmission and application of electric power. He invented the first alternating current (AC) motor and developed AC generation and transmission technology. Though he was famous and respected, he was never able to translate his copious inventions into long-term financial success—unlike his early employer and chief rival, Thomas Edison.

The person who I admire the most is Yuri Gagarin. He was born on the 9th March 1934, in Klushino Village, Smolensk Region. He is famous as the first man in the space.

Yuri Gagarin was born in peasant family. His father was a woodworker and his mother worked at the milk plant. In 1941 he went to school and the Great Patriotic War began. He had to break his studying off. In 1951 Yuri Gagarin entered the Saratov Industrial College. Three years later he came to Saratov Aeroclub. In 1955 Gagarin achieved success, graduated from the college with honors and he took a flight on the plane for the first time in his life.

After his graduation, Gagarin called up for the army. He was one of twenty candidates to fly into the space. Gagarin became one of three leaders in the first detachment. On the 12th April 1961 Yuri Gagarin became the first man who flew into the space by a launch vehicle called “Vostok-1”.

The reason I admire him because he is really courageous and brave.

Last month my father and i went to brighton.brighton is a good place in the south of england.there are many hotels in brighton .we lived in a small hotel.our room was really comfortable. had a small table, tv, a sofa, two beds and two chairs.there was a mirror and two lovely pictures of brighton.the bathroom was small.there we had a bath, a toilet and a sink.we could take a shower in the bathroom and i usually had one in the afternoon after my swim in the sea.there    were many green trees  and beautiful flowers behind the hotel and the sea was in front of it.we came to brighton by car and spent two wonderful weeks there.we are going to spend our next summer there again.
