I spent a lot of time at the college, that is why it was necessary to have a snack time there. During the break i went to have lunch to our college canteen. It was always full of people at that time, I went to the service counter and lined up. There was seif-service at our canteen. Sometimes it took quite a lot of time to stand in the line and i had to gulp me lunch in five minutes. The choice of dishes in our was rather rich, the quality of food was good and the prices were reasonable. To begin with, I usually had some salad — tomato and cucumber salad or mixed salad. For the first course I had soup — fresh cabbage shchee, solyanka, pea soup or maybe some fish soup for a change. For I the main course I had meat or chicken dishes, for example steak, meatballs or roast chicken with spaghetti or potatoes (mashed or fried). For dessert I usually had fruit juice or a cup of tea with a bun. I took them from the counter, put on my tray and went to the cashier's desk to pay the money. Then I took a seat at any vacant table.Besides the kitchen staff and the cashier two or three students on duty helped to clear the plates and cups off the tables and to keep order in the canteen.

After my hard and busy school year my summer holidays began (Past Simple Active). I felt (Past Simple Active) happy when hard and busy school year finished (Past Simple Active) and summer holidays began (Past Simple Active). I started  (Past Simple Active) to plan a lot of wonderful things to do during my summer vocation.
I was dreaming (Past Continuous Active) about visiting far south countries I always wanted (Past Simple Active) to visit. For example, I dreamed (Past Simple Active) to visit, Greece islands or Spanish beaches. But I had to go (Past Simple Active) to the Azov Sea seaside with my parents. The water was very warm (Past Simple Active) there, because the Sea of Azov isn't deep. (Present Simple Active) There were (Past Simple Active) different kinds of entertainments there. Best of all I liked (Past Simpe Active) water scooters and discos.
There was (Past Simple Active) nothing to do all day except taking sunbathes and swimming. I was playing (Past Continuous Active) with my little sister on the sand and taught (Past Simple Active) her to swim. Later, I returned (Past Simple Active) home and spent (Past Simple Active) some time there going out with my friends, reading, listening to the music, watching TV and playing computer games. After that I went (Past Simple Active) to the sport camp where I spent (Past Simple Active) twenty days with my friends.
It was very useful experience (Past Simple Active) for us, because we had to get up (Past Simple Active) very early, to train a lot. But it made (Past Simple Active) us stronger and healthier.
I was very happy (Past Simple Active) to return home and to spend several days in my summer cottage, where I had (Past Simple Active) a rest helping my grandfather to dig the garden, to irrigate plants and to gather fruit and vegetables. I was fishing (Past Continuous Active) with my grandfather sometimes and we cooked (Past Simple Active) our fish together.
Only insects were spoiling (Past Continuous Active) my good humour. I was enjoying (Past Continuous Active) floating in the boat, swimming and helping my grandparents.
During my summer holidays I made (Past Simple Active) new friends, read (Past Simple Active) a lot of interesting books, knew (Past Simple Active) many useful things. Now, I feel (Present Simple Active) ready to get back to school.
I am happy (Present Simple Active) to meet my school friends and teachers.
