It seemed we already know everything about the world we live in but still there are some mysteries that we want to reveal.
Loch Ness is the home of probably the world’s most famous monster. People say that from time to time you can see a big monster who they call “Nessie” in this lake. There are some reports about seeing great black humps on the surface of the lake and then their disappearing. The main question is – is it a fact or fiction?

Experts have been discussing that question for years, but in recent times more and more people believe that a whole colony of giant creatures may live in the lake. In 1962 a group of people formed an organization called the Bureau for the Investigation of the Loch Ness Phenomena.

Each summer they invite volunteers who watch the lake. And in 1966, they installed cameras on the banks to prove 'Nessie's' existence. Other people made some photographs on the lake’s surface, but the pictures weren’t good enough to convince anyone, although a film made in 1961 convinced a lot of people that something exists in this lake. The film showed an object twenty-eight metres long, travelling at sixteen kilometers per hour.

People who claim they saw a monster describe it in a very similar way: it has four fins, a tail and it has a length of around eighteen meters.

Some years ago an 18-year old girl from England had a thirty-seven kilometers journey across Loch Ness. It took her thirty hours, some of which she was swimming in the darkness and everyone applauded her for her strength and bravery.

My family isn't large. Besides my parents I have an elder sister whose name is Irina. She is 19 and she is a student of the institute. 

I am Masha. I am 13 and I am a student of the secondary school. I am not very tall but I am not short either. I like skating and reading.

My mother's name is Inna Vasilievna. She is 39 and she is a nurse in our hospital. My mother is very pretty and kind.

My father's name is Ivan Petrovich. He is 42 and he is a driver in the same hospital. My father is very strong and strict. He likes to play chess and we often play chess in the evening.

Our granny doesn't live with us, but she lives not far from our house so I often come to see her on Sundays. I visited her last night and she was glad to see me. We have supper then I read my favourite book about animals and I went to bed about 12 p.m.

We are a friendly family and we try to get along with each other and try to discuss our problems and to solve them together.

 

Моя семья небольшая. Кроме моих родителей у меня есть старшая сестра, чье имя Ирина. Ей 19, и она учится в институте.

Я Маша. Мне 13 лет,  и я учусь в средней школе. Я не очень высокая, но я не маленькая. Я люблю кататься на коньках и читать.
Мою маму зовут Инна Васильевна. Ей 39 лет, и она работает медсестрой в нашей больнице. Моя мама очень красивая и добрая.
Моего отца зовут Иван Петрович. Ему  42 года, и он работает водителем в той же больнице. Мой отец очень сильный и строгий. Он любит играть в шахматы и мы часто играем с ним в шахматы по вечерам.

Наша бабушка не живет вместе с нами, но она живет не далеко от нашего дома, поэтому я часто прихожу к ней по воскресеньям. Я была у нее ночью, и она была рада меня видеть. Мы поужинали,  потом я читала мою любимую книгу о животных, и я легла спать около 12 часов.
Мы дружная семья, и мы стараемся ладить друг с другом, мы обсуждаем наши проблемы и стараемся решить их вместе.

One nice summer Sunday day two friends went to the sandy beach to surf. 

 

When they came there they saw a sight which said : "No Swimming - Sharks" but they ignored it and started surfing. They had surfed for a long time and they were going to swim towards the beach. Sudenly a big angry shark appeard.

 

The shark was really huge but its eyes were tiny and it made her look agressive and angry. They   

frightened to deth and yelled. The shark swim uo to them. They started swimming faster towards the shore but the shark was swimming behind them too. One of them yelled again : " Mark! Climbe onto my board and push your towards the shark." The shark grabbed the board and tore it into pecies with it big sharp teeth in no time.

 

They managed to reach the shore and safety. They will never swim at the places where they must not swim since that time. Lucky to be alive.
