Не смотря на то, что Англия являлась мировым гегемоном сотни лет, цивилизованной Европе было на неё безразлично. Международным он был только у их чёрных рабов, укуренных китайцев и индийцев. И да. Забыл ещё США. Страна, которая и сделала его важным в дальнейшем. Однако случились Первая, а затем и Вторая Мировые войны. Европа встала на колени, а американские "друзья" воспользовались ситуацией и щедро пораздавали всем кредиты и прочие финансовые подарки, за которые те платят до сих пор. Собственно и на коленях стоят до сих пор. А кто правит Европой - тот правит миром. Вот все теперь и разговаривают на английском.
