Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin (May 26 [June 6] 1799, Moscow - January 29 [February 10] 1837, St. Petersburg) - Russian poet, playwright and prose writer, who laid the foundations of the Russian realistic direction , critic and theoretician of literature, historian, publicist; one of the most authoritative literary figures of the first third of the 19th century.

Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin has a reputation as a great or the greatest Russian poet, in particular, as he is called "Encyclopedic Dictionary of Brockhaus and Efron" , "Russian Biographical Dictionary" , "Literary Encyclopedia" [119], the encyclopedia "Krugosvet" , "The British Encyclopedia" ("greatest poet") . In philology, Pushkin is regarded as the creator of the modern Russian literary language (see, for example, the works of V.V. Vinogradov), and the "Short Literary Encyclopedia" (by S. S. Averintsev) speaks of the standard of his works, like the works of Dante in Italy or Goethe in Germany. DS Likhachev wrote about Pushkin as “our greatest national treasure” . я старалась надеюсь
