Today in the Russian Federation, the holiday has lost its political color, is celebrated under the name of the Holiday of Spring and Labor and is a day off. Сегодня в Российской Федерации праздник потерял свой политический колорит, отмечается под названием Праздник весны и труда и является выходным днем. Как бы ни был День майя, День рабочих, солидарность или праздник весны и труда, для многих 1 мая традиционно символизируется возрождением и прибытием весны.
