Vnukovo is one of the oldest airports in the Moscow aviation zone, which in recent years has begun to actively develop and modernize. Currently, more than 80 regular flights to the cities of the Far East, Siberia, the North Caucasus, Armenia, Georgia, Ukraine, Moldova and up to 30 flights to non-CIS countries are carried out from here every day. Today Vnukovo Airport has two intersecting runways: Runway-1 (3000 m by 60 m, fortified shoulders 10 cm on each side, total runway width 180 m, free zones 400 m on each side) and Runway-2 (3060 m by 60 m, total runway width 180 m).
