When I was still very young, I always believed in various miracles, for example, in the existence of wizards, magic and ghosts. That is why my older brother often liked to make fun of me, as if they all exist and, according to the legend he invented, live somewhere in our apartment, but only show up at night. I argued with him for a long time that this was not true, but believing his arguments, I decided that maybe my brother was not mistaken, and all these mysterious creatures actually live in our house. Moreover, every night, sweets from the vase disappeared somewhere, and my brother was always in sight. I wanted, by all means, to see the night thieves, and therefore, my brother and I agreed that we would take turns on duty at night, and when one notices something, we will immediately wake the other up.
Naturally, the plan failed miserably, with the onset of midnight we were already sound asleep and did not see any ghosts. So we tried to take turns on duty a couple of times, but all this was unsuccessful. Then we came up with the idea, just to follow what is happening in the room together, so as certainly not to miss anything.
One day I went to the forest to pick mushrooms. At first everything was fine, and when I collected a sufficient amount of mushrooms, I realized that I had to return home. I turned around and realized that, the road is not the one I was walking on. I immediately felt scared and did not know how to get out of there. But she continued to walk and fortunately there is a river flowing there, and walked along this river, knowing that it would lead me to the people. And so I got to some village, and there people brought me to my parents. After that, I never went alone.
