I think that the north of Scotland is one of 7)the most beautiful places I’ve ever
been to. The water in the lochs is 8) the clearest I’ve ever seen and I believe that it must be the 9) most picturesque of all there are in the world. Wow – I’ve got back from Jin Shan Ling, a really 12) beautiful) part of the Great wall of China. It was absolutely 13) stunning. I got up really early this morning and took the bus from Beijing to Si Ma Tai. It’s not as touristy as some other parts of the
Wall, so it felt much more 14) peaceful than the Badaling Great wall. As I wrote last week, I was a bit 15) disappointed when I visited it – it was almost too perfect. Then I walked 10 km along the wall to Jin Shan Ling, which was absolutely 16) exhausting. It was a 17) boiling hot and there wasn’t much shade from the sun. While I was walking, I had a good chat with some American tourists – it was a 18) golden  opportunity to practise my English.
