   У Georges Nagelmackers, бельгийского бизнесмена появилась блестящая идея. Он хотел создать новую железнодорожную линию с северо-запада Европы до Азии. Он намеревался это сделать соединив несколько Европейских железнодорожных линий вместе.

   Среди путешественников первого приключения поезда в 1883 были также члены Европейских Царских семей а также другие не менее знаменитые люди и журналисты.
   Политики, дипломаты, бизнесмены и другие богатые и известные люди наслаждались путешествием на Orient Express. Orient Express совершила свой последний рейс в 1977 г. Компании пришлось свернуть своё дело, ведь путешествия по воздуху стали гораздо дешевле.
