в великобритании, разные родители имеют разные правила. некоторые родители отпускают своих детей на дискотеки, когда им 12. некоторые из них и администрация позвольют им делать это, пока им нет 16. родители часто имеют более строгие правила для девочек, чем для мальчиков.1.  yes i do,yes in my country this is.  да, в моей стране такое есть.  3.  it seems to me that the rules should be the same as for boys and for girls.  мне кажется, что правила должны быть одинаковыми как для мальчиков и для девочек.

1. we have different types of families, where children are allowed to do certain things at different ages.2. i think the parents are doing this in order to protect their children. they take care of them. i think it is correct.3. i think not, because we have no superiority of the sexes. but as girls weaker boys, they   need more thorough protection.

Task1. choose the correct verb form from the brackets)task2. give the title to the story.         yesterday the doorbell (1-rang) while i (2-was having/ breakfast. as i (3-was going/ to answer it i  4-(fell) over a pile of books in the hall. by the time i (5-w got) to the door, there was no one there - but the postman (6-was getting back into his van a few houses away. i (7-ran) after him, but he (8-didn`t hear) me and (9-drove) off. so, i (10- went) back home. when i (11-got) there, the door was shut, and (12- realised) that i (13-didn`t have) my key. my son in the house, and so i (14-/rang) the bell, but he (15-didn`t answer): he (16-was listening to music and (17- didn`t hear) the bell. i (18-remembered) that the kitchen window was open, so i (19-went) round to the back to try and get in that way. while i (20-was climbing in   the window, the electricity man (21-arrived) to read the meter, and i had to explain the situation to him.  i still don`t know if he (22-believed) me. anyway, i (23-got) in, only to find that the cats (24-were eating) my breakfast. then the doorbell (25-rang).
