The 8th of March is International Women’s Day. It is a big holiday in Russia. It is a day when every girl or woman is congratulated. Men and boys give them flowers and nice gifts. It is a day off from work. The symbol of this holiday is the fragrant mimosa blossom. 
On this day husbands and sons  clean the house and cook meals. Women dress up beautifully. It is a day when a woman can relax, watch TV, go to spa or do anything else she feels like doing. It is a spring day. All women are smiling in beautiful clothes and with a bouquet of flowers.  Men try to be really nice with women, show their love and care on this day.
